Community Guidelines

What UwU Live is

UWU Live is an 18+ social media and live-streaming platform. It is not an adult-entertainment platform and is not designed for sexual content. These guidelines apply to everyone and to every surface on UwU Live — profiles, photos, bios, posts, videos, comments, messages, Live, Exclusive Live, PK Battles, Multi-Live, Communities, and creator content.

General content rules

The following rules apply across all of UwU Live — posts, videos, photos, comments, profiles, Communities, Direct Messages, Live streams, PK Battles, Multi-Live, and creator interactions. Content that violates these rules may be removed, and accounts may receive enforcement ranging from a warning to Account Deactivation depending on severity, context, and history. UwU Live's standard platform is intended to remain appropriate under these general content rules for a broad audience.

Sexual and adult content

UwU Live is a general, nonsexual platform — not an adult-entertainment service. Do not post pornography, explicit sexual activity, sexual services, sexual exploitation, explicit sexual solicitation, or nudity intended as sexual content. These rules apply everywhere on UwU Live: profiles, photos, bios, posts, videos, comments, messages, Live, Exclusive Live, PK Battles, Multi-Live, and all creator content. 'Exclusive Live' is a restricted-access/monetization feature — it is not an adult or sexual content category, and it does not grant permission to publish sexual content. Age and audience controls are eligibility features, not content-permission features. UwU Live does not currently permit adult sexual content on any surface.

Minor safety

UWU Live is an exclusively 18+ platform. We have zero tolerance for content that endangers minors. This includes: child sexual exploitation, sexualization of minors, grooming, soliciting sexual material from minors, predatory behavior involving minors, sharing exploitative material involving minors, and any attempt to bypass applicable age restrictions. Serious minor-safety violations may result in immediate protective enforcement and Account Deactivation where appropriate, and may be reported to authorities. We remove known underage accounts and require all users to provide their date of birth at registration.

Harassment and bullying

Do not target, demean, intimidate, or encourage others to harass anyone on UwU Live. Prohibited behavior includes targeted harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, sustained abusive behavior, and encouraging coordinated harassment or pile-ons. Repeated unwanted contact is not allowed. You can Block and Report other users from their profile, a message, or a live stream. Blocking and reporting are separate actions — blocking stops someone from interacting with you, while reporting sends the issue to UwU Live's moderation team.

Hateful conduct

UwU Live prohibits hateful or dehumanizing attacks targeting people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or similar protected characteristics. Hate symbols and coded hate are also prohibited. Legitimate discussion of controversial topics is not prohibited merely because a topic is sensitive or debated — the rule targets attacks on people, not the topic itself.

Violence and threats

Do not post credible threats of violence, encourage serious violence, or share content that facilitates serious violent wrongdoing. This includes incitement, instructions for weapons or dangerous acts, and glorification of real-world attacks. Depictions of real-world violence must have clear educational, documentary, or newsworthy context. Serious safety threats may result in immediate enforcement escalation up to Account Deactivation.

Exploitation and abuse

UwU Live prohibits sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, sextortion, human trafficking and exploitation, blackmail, and serious coercive abuse. This includes content that facilitates, promotes, or profits from the exploitation or abuse of others. Violations may result in immediate enforcement and Account Deactivation where appropriate.

Privacy

Do not share another person's private or sensitive information without consent. This includes doxxing (posting someone's address, phone number, or other private identifying information), sharing non-consensual private material, and attempts to expose sensitive personal information. Content that reveals private details about another user — including their location, financial details, or personal documents — is prohibited and may be removed.

Impersonation

Do not deceive others by pretending to be another person, brand, or organization in a way that misleads users. Parody, fan, and community accounts are allowed when they are clearly labeled and do not mislead others about their identity or relationship to the person or brand. Official Creator Verification (the verified checkmark) is a separate process from age and identity verification — it confirms the account's identity has been reviewed by UwU Live and may not be transferred, faked, or purchased. Verified badges are backend-driven and cannot be self-assigned.

Spam, scams, and fraud

UwU Live prohibits spam, phishing, fraud, financial scams, deceptive schemes, and malicious links. This includes repetitive or mass posting, fake engagement, bot networks, misleading or deceptive offers, and artificial manipulation of engagement where prohibited. Coordinated wash-gifting, self-tipping, and payout manipulation are treated as fraud and may be reversed. Do not post content designed to scam others out of money, UwU, or personal information.

Platform manipulation

Do not attempt to manipulate UwU, gifts, tips, creator earnings, payouts, verification status, moderation status, account privileges, Live metrics, or engagement systems. This includes artificial inflation of view counts, like counts, comment counts, live viewer counts, gift counts, or follower counts; coordinated inauthentic behavior; and any attempt to circumvent UwU Live's financial or verification systems. Violations may result in feature restrictions, earnings reversal, and enforcement up to Account Deactivation.

Live streaming rules

All Community Guidelines apply to Live streams. Hosts are responsible for what happens in their room, including their own behavior, guest behavior, and chat. Rules for Live: keep content appropriate and nonsexual; do not stream dangerous or illegal activity; moderate your chat using mute, remove, ban, and keyword filter tools; honor privacy and audience settings. These rules apply equally to standard Live, Exclusive Live (a restricted-access/monetization feature, not an adult content category), PK Battles, and Multi-Live. PK Battles must remain a friendly competition — no hate, harassment, organized brigading, or fraud against the opposing creator. Scores are derived only from verified gifts and cannot be manipulated. Multi-Live hosts are responsible for their guests' behavior and can manage guests using seat controls. Live moderators appointed by the host help enforce chat rules. Hosts and guests remain responsible for following all Community Guidelines while Live. Hateful, sexual, or dangerous Live content is removed and may restrict the host's Live access.

Messaging rules

Community Guidelines apply to your behavior in Direct Messages. Do not send harassment, threats, spam, scams, sexual content, or other prohibited material in DMs. You can Block and Report messages and conversations. Message requests from people you don't follow go to a separate Requests inbox — you choose whether to accept them. UwU Live does not publicly expose private messages. DM Tip and gift features are subject to the same financial rules as all UwU Live transactions.

Creator monetization

Creators using monetization features (gifts, tips, Live earnings, PK earnings, Multi-Live seats, payouts) must also comply with all Community Guidelines, creator rules, payment and payout requirements, and fraud-prevention requirements. Violations of Community Guidelines may result in feature restrictions or monetization restrictions in addition to standard enforcement. UwU Live does not automatically confiscate legitimate earnings — however, earnings tied to fraud, chargebacks, or serious guideline violations may be withheld, reversed, or clawed back per the Creator Monetization Terms. Creators must be 18+, identity-verified, and in good standing to earn and withdraw.

Enforcement

UwU Live's enforcement system includes the following actions, applied based on severity, context, repeated violations, and safety considerations: (1) Warning — a notice that a rule was violated. (2) Content Removal — removing a specific post, video, comment, or message that violates the guidelines. (3) Feature Restriction — limiting access to specific features (such as Live, messaging, gifting, posting, commenting, PK, Multi-Live, monetization, or receiving gifts) while keeping the account active. (4) Temporary Suspension — temporarily revoking access to UwU Live for a set period, after which the account is automatically restored. (5) Account Deactivation — the most severe enforcement action, used for serious or repeated violations, revoking access to the account. UwU Live does not use a separate 'Permanent Ban' enforcement action. A report alone does not automatically prove a violation — every report is reviewed before action is taken. Enforcement is driven by the authoritative EnforcementRecord system and cannot be bypassed by editing your own profile.

Appeals

Eligible moderation decisions may be appealed. You can submit an appeal from Settings → Account Status or from the account-suspended screen. Submitting an appeal does not automatically reverse the enforcement action — eligible appeals go through UwU Live's review process, and the decision is made by a reviewer who was not involved in the original action. Appeal status updates are shown in your Account Status page. Frivolous or abusive appeal submissions may themselves result in enforcement.

Reporting

You can report the following on UwU Live: accounts (from a profile), posts and videos (from the content), comments (from the comment), Direct Messages (from the message or conversation), Live streams and Live interactions (from the Live room), and Community posts. Reports connect directly to UwU Live's moderation system and are reviewed by the moderation team. False or retaliatory reports are themselves a violation. Reporting is separate from blocking — reporting sends the issue to UwU Live, while blocking stops someone from interacting with you.

Blocking

UwU Live's Block feature stops another user from interacting with you. When you block someone, they cannot follow you, message you, see your content, or interact with you on UwU Live. Blocking is immediate and applies to the blocked user's account. You can unblock a user later from Settings → Privacy & Safety. Blocking does not report the user to UwU Live — if the user violated guidelines, you should also file a report. Muting is a lighter option that reduces a user's prominence without fully blocking them.

Copyright and intellectual property

Only post content you own or have the rights to use. Repeated copyright infringement leads to removal and may result in account enforcement under our Copyright / DMCA Policy. To report infringing content, use the in-app Copyright / IP Report (Settings → Legal → Copyright / IP Report).

Reporting and retaliation

Retaliation against anyone who reports a violation is prohibited and is itself a violation of these guidelines. This includes threatening, harassing, or targeting someone because they filed a report. If you experience retaliation, report it — UwU Live treats retaliation as an aggravating factor in enforcement.
