Terms of Service
Eligibility and age
UWU Live is an exclusively 18+ social media and live-streaming platform. You must be at least 18 years of age or older to create an account or access our platform. By using UwU Live, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. You must provide your date of birth at registration. Certain features (live streaming, creator monetization) require additional third-party age and identity verification. UwU Live removes known underage accounts and does not permit anyone under 18 to use the platform.
Account registration
You create an account by providing an email address and password, or by using Google sign-in. You must verify your email address to activate your account. One person or entity may not create accounts using false information or on behalf of another person without authorization.
Account security
You are responsible for keeping your password and account secure and for all activity under your account. Do not share your password. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We use authenticated password hashing and cannot view your raw password. Password changes require re-authentication and trigger a security notification.
Accurate account information
You must provide accurate and current information when creating and maintaining your account. You may update your profile information at any time. Providing false information may result in account enforcement.
User responsibilities
You are responsible for your conduct and content on UwU Live. You agree to comply with these Terms, the Community Guidelines, the Virtual Currency & Gift Terms, the Creator Monetization Terms, and all applicable laws. You agree not to misuse the service, circumvent safety or financial systems, or interfere with the operation of UwU Live.
User-generated content
UwU Live allows users to create and share content, including posts, videos, photos, comments, profiles, community posts and comments, direct messages, live streams, PK Battles, Multi-Live participation, and music/audio uploads where supported. You are solely responsible for the content you create and share. You represent that you own or have the rights to all content you post and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.
Content license
You retain ownership of your content. By creating or uploading content to UwU Live, you grant UwU Live a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, process, transmit, distribute, and moderate that content within the service as needed to operate UwU Live and its features (including feeds, profiles, live streaming, PK Battles, Multi-Live, communities, and messaging). This license continues until you delete the content or your account, except where retention is required for legal, safety, or financial obligations. UwU Live does not claim ownership of your content.
Community Guidelines
You must comply with UwU Live's Community Guidelines, which describe the content and conduct rules that apply across all surfaces of UwU Live. The Community Guidelines are incorporated into these Terms by reference. Violations may result in content removal and account enforcement as described below.
UwU
UwU are a virtual currency used within the platform. UwU can be purchased using a payment processor (currently Stripe, operating in test/sandbox mode). UwU are a limited license to use platform features and do not constitute cash, currency, or a financial instrument. Purchased UwU cannot be redeemed for cash, are non-refundable except where required by law, and may expire after a period of inactivity as configured by UwU Live. UwU spent on gifts and tips generate creator earnings net of the platform share, but the UwU themselves are not withdrawable. UwU and creator earnings are separate accounting concepts — UwU are a virtual currency for spending, while creator earnings represent a creator's share of monetization revenue that may become withdrawable under the conditions in these Terms.
Gifts and DM Tips
UwU Live allows users to send virtual gifts in live streams, PK Battles, on profiles, and in direct messages, and to send UwU tips in direct messages. Gifts and tips are funded by spending UwU. Eligible gift and tip transactions generate creator earnings according to the platform revenue share. Self-gifting and self-tipping are prohibited and blocked. Gifts and tips are generally final once completed; reversals are issued only for documented platform errors, fraud, or abuse. Coordinated wash-gifting, self-tipping, and payout manipulation are treated as fraud and may result in earnings reversal and enforcement.
Creator earnings
Creators who are eligible (18+, identity-verified, in good standing) may earn from gifts, tips, live earnings, PK earnings, and Multi-Live seat payments. Earnings pass through a holding period as pending before becoming available for withdrawal. Available earnings can be withdrawn via a connected payout method (currently Stripe Connect, operating in test/sandbox mode), subject to minimum payout thresholds and currency conversion rates set in admin configuration. Approved payouts are processed by the payout provider to your verified method. Earnings tied to fraud, chargebacks, or serious guideline violations may be withheld, reversed, or clawed back, including already-paid amounts. UwU Live does not guarantee specific earnings amounts or payout timing.
Payment providers
UwU Live uses third-party payment and payout providers to process transactions. UwU purchases are currently processed by Stripe. Creator payouts are currently processed by Stripe Connect. Both the purchase and payout systems are currently operating in test/sandbox mode and are not yet processing real payments or real payouts. Do not rely on UwU Live for production payment processing until live mode is enabled. When live mode is enabled, it will be disclosed in the app. Payment providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
Tax information
Eligible creators may be required to provide tax information to receive payouts. Tax onboarding is handled through a separate process from age/identity verification and official creator verification. Tax information is kept separate from your public profile and is not displayed to other users. Sensitive tax information is processed by the tax onboarding provider and retained for legal and accounting compliance. Your tax status may affect your ability to withdraw earnings but does not change your gross revenue or earnings calculations.
Identity and age verification
UwU Live may require identity or age verification for certain features (live streaming, 18+ features, creator monetization, payouts). Verification is processed by a third-party provider. UwU Live receives verification status results and provider references — it does not directly store the identity documents or images you submit to the provider. Verification status is maintained in an authoritative backend record that users cannot edit directly, preventing bypass. Age/identity verification, Official Creator Verification, tax onboarding, and payout account setup are separate processes with separate requirements — completing one does not imply the others are complete.
SMS verification and text messages
UwU Live is operated by Just Want It Cleaned LLC. Some parts of UwU Live require phone verification, including the Agent & Agency Program application. When you enter a mobile number in the app and request a verification code, you consent to receive SMS text messages from UwU Live containing a one-time verification code. Message frequency varies — you receive one text message per code request, and each code expires. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and your plan. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Reply STOP to any UwU Live text message to cancel; you will receive one final message confirming your opt-out, and no further verification texts will be sent to that number. Reply HELP for help, or contact UwU Live support through the in-app Help & Support page. Opting out of SMS does not delete your UwU Live account, but we cannot complete a step that requires phone verification without sending a text message. A mobile number is required to complete the Agent & Agency Program application. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and SMS consent is not a condition of any purchase on UwU Live.
Official Creator Verification
Official Creator Verification is a separate process from age/identity verification. The verified checkmark confirms that UwU Live has reviewed and confirmed the account's identity or status according to UwU Live's criteria. It does not imply anything UwU Live has not actually verified and does not represent an endorsement. Verified badges are backend-driven and cannot be self-assigned, transferred, or purchased. UwU Live may remove verification at any time if eligibility changes.
Moderation and enforcement
UwU Live enforces its Community Guidelines and Terms using the following actions, depending on severity, context, safety, and repeated violations: (1) Warning — a notice that a rule was violated. (2) Content Removal — removing specific content that violates the guidelines. (3) Feature Restriction — limiting access to specific features (Live, messaging, gifting, posting, commenting, PK, Multi-Live, monetization, or receiving gifts) while keeping the account active. (4) Temporary Suspension — temporarily revoking access to UwU Live for a set period, after which the account is automatically restored. (5) Account Deactivation — the most severe enforcement action, used for serious or repeated violations, revoking access to the account. UwU Live does not use a separate 'Permanent Ban' enforcement action. A report alone does not automatically prove a violation — every report is reviewed before action is taken. Enforcement is driven by an authoritative backend record system that cannot be bypassed by editing your profile.
Appeals
Eligible moderation decisions may be appealed from Settings → Account Status or from the account-suspended screen. Submitting an appeal does not automatically reverse the enforcement action. Appeals go through UwU Live's review process, and the decision is made by a reviewer. Appeal status updates are shown in your Account Status page. Frivolous or abusive appeal submissions may themselves result in enforcement.
Account restrictions and suspension
UwU Live may restrict specific features, temporarily suspend, or deactivate accounts for violations. Temporary suspensions have a set duration and are automatically restored when they expire. Feature restrictions remain until lifted or expire. Account Deactivation is used for severe or repeated violations and revokes access to the account.
User-requested account deletion
You can request account deletion from Settings → Delete Account. Account deletion requires password re-authentication. When you delete your account: your public profile (username, photo, bio, social links) is anonymized; your public content (posts, videos, comments) is removed or anonymized; your direct message identity is anonymized while preserving the other participant's message history; your active live streams are ended and live history is anonymized; your follows, likes, saves, and blocks are removed; and your remaining UwU and pending/available creator earnings are forfeited per UwU Live's Terms. Financial, transaction, payout, tax, moderation, safety, appeal, audit, and verification records are retained as required by law and cannot be used to bypass active disputes, fraud, or enforcement history. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Deletion is blocked while you have pending payout requests in progress.
Disclaimers
UwU Live is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind. UwU Live does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation. Virtual UwU have no cash value outside the platform. Creator earnings are not guaranteed and depend on eligible transactions, holding periods, and payout provider availability. UwU Live is not responsible for third-party provider failures.
Policy updates
UwU Live may update these Terms and related policies from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the app or other reasonable notice. The 'Last updated' date at the bottom of this document indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of UwU Live after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
